Patient presents with sudden excruciating central abdominal pain. What's the diagnosis?
Non-circumferential abnormal density is present along the left margin of the proximal superior mesenteric artery, associated with mild inflammatory-appearing haziness adjacent to this vessel. The appearance most likely represents acute superior mesenteric artery dissection, which could be confirmed on non contrast CT or with MRI.
