Visceral, haematologic, and skeletal manifestations of Gaucher’s disease are present. Findings are related to the accumulation of glucosylceramide in lysosymes predominantly in the spleen, bone marrow and liver due to the deficiency of the enzyme glucocerebrosidase. Osteopenia with fracturing, marrow replacement, hepatosplenomegaly, with calcific hepatic nodules and extensive splenic calcification are evident.
