A post-arrest patient. What's the diagnosis?
There are bilateral symmetric regions of loss of grey white matter differentiation associated with a ‘pseudosubarachnoid’ appearance to the intracranial vasculature. The appearance is consistent with a severe diffuse hypoxic ischaemic injury.
